Buying a local barrel in Glasgow

by "psaffrey@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <psaffrey@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Apr 30, 2008 at 06:09 AM

I'm getting married next month and the day after the wedding we're
planning a barbecue. I was hoping to buy a small barrel of local ale
for this, but I'm not quite how to do this. I live in Glasgow.

Obviously there are a million and one real ale shops online, but most
of them seem focussed on the exciting range of beers, rather than
making sure something is local. Obviously Lanca****re beer is great but
it's better for the environment and more appropriate if it comes from
closer to home.

Any suggestions?

Peter
