The word to note is "arguably".

In this area you could start a really good argument by claiming Greene 
King's beer was anything but a last resort.

It's not pasteurised and it is alcoholic and sometimes it's well enough 
kept to be perfectly drinkable (though a GK sign isn't exactly a 
guarantee of this) and it's usually relatively cheap.
That's about it.
