I buy my eggs from a farmer with 2 operations, one organic and the other
uncertified. The cost of certification is very high. The organic eggs (a

bit pricey) must come from chickens fed certified organic grains. I buy
his
free range ones instead as he doesn't feed them any of the "artificial"
industrially produced foodstuffs, just grain.
Incidentally, since the scares of the last couple of years or so regarding

animal feed, there are stickers on the packs of chicken in the
supermarkets
guaranteeing that the chickens were grain fed and did not receive anything

unnatural.
