This subject came up at lunchtime pint time and the consensus was simple 
tasty food. When we have the g daughters up from ****tsmouth, or I am 
down there, I make a simple meal of diced lamb, lots of garlic, onions 
and mushrooms and serve it on rice (youngest doesn't like mushrooms 
though). They love it. Even the daughter came back for a second helping. 
Simple food cooked simply. It cost me £5-00 for a leg of lamb and the 
rest of the ingredients and it fed 4 of us.

They get spices and curries from their mother.

The only thing that gets me down at the daughters, is she does not have 
a sharp knife  :-(
