Goodness, their "chefs" must have spent hours getting the recipe just
right,
what with a little pinch of this and a smidgeon of that and a soupcon of
the
other. Look at all those 'erbs & spices!

If you hadn't told us, my first guess would have been pate, from the ****k
fat and assorted liver content. And now we know where all the skin off
those
"Healthy Living" chicken breasts go.

Which brand do you usually buy?

I'm not sure how you mean. I suppose there are rules & regs somewhere
about
what can be called pate and I rather think Tesco will abide by them.
Doesn't
make it all any less disgusting.

I've just had a quick look for a recipe and the very first one on Google
is
from the BBC site by Wozza.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/duckliverandorangepa_71658.shtml
Ingredients
175g/6oz unsalted butter, softened
450g/1lb duck livers, trimmed and cleaned
2 shallots, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp orange juice
1 tbsp orange zest
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp orange liqueur
55g/2oz clarified butter, melted

Now that can hardly be the real McCoy 'cos it's got no 'erbs & spices in
like Tescos. (And not a chicken skin in sight neither.)
