Reading the article, or even my extract, would have answered your query.

I'm in no way saying I agree with their findings, for a start I'd have
liked 
more information concerning the tasters. There again if they used
"ordinary 
folk" as tasters and they all agreed in blind tests that the intensive 
reared birds were "better" it does raise some questions. For instance, I 
personally have never done a blind taste test on chicken. Come to that
I've 
only ever sat down to one type of chicken at a time. When I have eaten an 
intensively reared bird I have known what I was eating and sat all of my 
prejudices down with me at the table.
