DELURKING to ask for comments

These dont seem to be high traffic newsgroups - but suppose quality is 
more im****tant than quantity .

I'm in the process of writing the php script for the website below and i 
expect it to be finished the first week in January 2007 .

The php script will be freeware to anybody who wants .

Although given what the website/script is i would imagine it will only 
be takeaways that will be interested in it .

Once the takeaway php script is installed on some webspace - everything 
can be done online and users dont need to go anywhere near a web 
authoring app - or have any geeky web skills .

To add/edit/delete the main food catagorys along with the actual meals 
available in each section is all easy to use point-n-click stuff in the 
admin control panel .

The reason for this post is to ask for comments on what you like or 
dislike about what you see so far & any suggestions you have that would 
improve the website would be welcome .

While i dont promise to add your idea to the php script as there might 
be technical or design problems - the worst that can happen is that i 
say no .

(the admin control panel is not available yet & its only the public 
ordering layout and functions that can be surfted)

(the add to order option wont be working until the weekend - but theres 
enough to get the general idea of what the website will do when its 
finished)

The idea being .....

You make your meal selections online - then - phone the takeaway 
concerned quoting a 5 digit reference number .

The takeaway will then type (or click) on the 5 digit reference number 
and perhaps confirm the price and the delivery address - then - click on 
the print icon in the browser to print out the delivery order .

As you can imagine this means theres no need for the takeaway to write 
anything down & the actual length of the phone call will be much shorter 
than the usual type of verbal delivery order . 

Like i say above - i'm interested in comments from joe punter and from 
the actual takeaways themselves .
