Hi All,
I'm a personal chef in NYC. I come from an Orthodox Jewish background and
am
intimately familiar with the laws of kashruth. However, I am having a very
difficult time with finding kosher quail. The bird, as I have researched
thoroughly is kosher, and is readily available in select markets in
Israel.
However, I seem to be having a hard time finding this fowl.
Anyone know where I can find already shechted quail? OR as an alternative,
I
can buy live quail - does anyone know of any shochatim in NYC that would
be
able to perform the shechita for me?
