Atlanta-based Triarc Cos Inc, which moved from New York more than a year
ago
when it bought roast beef king Arby's, is adding burger giant Wendy's to
its
****tfolio.
The company owner billionaire Nelsen Peltz, is buying the chain -the third
largest hamburger quick-service provider - for about $2.34 billion in an
all-stock deal.
Wendy's will remain headquarted in Dublin, Ohio, Triarc said.
"With that kind of money, we can only hope that there will be better TV
commercials for their products!"
