america is on a crusade to criminalize poverty, and in particular to
marginalize the homeless, there is no getting around it. In Palo Alto
the sit-lie ordinance was specifically extended from the main street
downtown several blocks away to target Victor. He is still foolish
enough to hold onto the american dream, pretending not to notice that
our civil liberties are under attack and fast disappearing. This is
the point i was trying to make, not to endlessly argue a flawed
concept about the classist and racist nature of our society, work
ethics, pc greed, nimbyist attitudes and about who or what a bum is or
isn't.
