Re: Excerpt from an article on Smithsonian.com

"humans needed to fuel their outsize brains....more cognitively
aware, faster-wired, faster-brained, smarter..sudden increase
in brainpower,....onset of speech" - due to genius "seafood"?

"Then how on Earth did and do these humans manage......???"

Long list of people snipped.

I think the reference is to pre modern humans with smaller brains not
between current modern humans. The question centers on what biological
factors afforded modern humans to have an evolutionary advantage over
smaller pre modern humans and what food source can be tied to the push for
a larger brain. A large brain requires larger amounts of energy, a big
chunck of food intake goes to run modern human brains. What readily
available food sources affords the highest energy density in its original
form. Not until agriculture did humans have in grain an energy source
approaching in its natural form something similar to animal products.

The person on the list who clinched theentire argument for me is:

Sonya Fitzpatrick, aka the Pet Psychic
