Why should you eat at all? If you want food, you'll have to pay for it,
or
grow it yourself. But if you grow it yourself, you still need to spend
money on stuff like land, property taxes, fertilizer, water, gardening
tools, seeds...
You spend money on food one way or the other. Food is not free. You seem
to think that the COST of a fast food burger should be regulated somehow.
Hint: nobody is forcing you to buy fast food. If you don't agree with
the
cost of a fast food burger (such as charging extra for extra lettuce),
don't
buy it.

That is a red herring totally unrelated to any possible food purchases you
might decide to make or not make, including fast food at burger joints.

the dozens of major carriers that have gone out of business or been forced
to merge out of existence recently, mainly due to diesel fuel prices being
so high. That's not counting many thousands of independent contractors
that
are now unemployed or under-employed as they had to PARK their class 8
tractors, as they couldn't afford to operate them anymore.
But you are really clueless if you think high diesel fuel prices don't
also
affect YOU, directly. When things cost more to ****p, they will cost YOU
more to buy.

water.
Anybody who would dare to try to dispute that is either severely

Ummmm, errrrrrrrr .... nobody is forcing you to eat fast food. Pay what
it
costs, or don't eat it. When oil prices go up, expect fast food prices to
go up, in part because food costs more to trans****t.

Many doctors and nutritionists would use the term "empty calories" to
describe what is served at most fast food places. If you want to insist
that fast food is food, well it's YOUR health that will suffer, not
mine...and certainly not my wife's or my sons, as they both eat better

I do, in spite of the fact that I deliberately avoid chain restaurants,
