What is the deal between Coke, or Pepsi with Nutrasweet for selling
their diet softdrinks? Is it possible for either Coke or Pepsi to
produce another brand (example low calorie coke or pepsi), and use
other no calorie sugar substitute other than aspartame, such as
Sucralose? I recall in the past, and also in other countries, they use
sacharrin or Sodium cyclamate as no sugar substitute in their diet
drinks. They even use the same name (ie. Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi),
except when you read the label in details, it does not contain
nutrasweet.
Does Nutrasweet (Aspartame) has a special deal with Coke and Pepsi,
that those company cannot sell diet drinks using Sucralose?
