A Plainfield man who stole a $1,500 Pomeranian puppy was
sentenced Wednesday to 60 days in jail for the theft -- and
the way he treated the pooch didn't help.
After swiping the dog from a Naperville pet store, Emanuel
Lopez, 19, smoked marijuana and blew the smoke at the
two-pound pup until it collapsed, police said.
